West Star Aviation in Grand Junction, Colo., received an amendment to its August 2003 Learjet 35/36 STC that adds RVSM equipment installation approval to airplanes equipped with FC-530 and FC-200 autopilots, various wing configurations, and Avcon and Raisbeck mods. The avionics package for all aircraft in the amended STC is essentially the same as the original.
Meanwhile, the company continues to work on obtaining group RVSM approval for the Cessna Conquest II. All required skin mapping, flight testing and equipment installation will be part of the RVSM package, expected to be completed in the fourth quarter.
