Ricardo Nogueira has replaced Adalberto Febeliano as executive vice president of the Associação Brasileira de Aviação Geral (ABAG, Brazilian General Aviation Association). Nogueira is a veteran of the Brazilian Air Force and served as a flight instructor at the Air Force Academy in Pirassununga, São Paulo. He spent 29 years at the Department of Airspace Control (DECEA), 19 of them in air traffic management. He also flew for Rio Sul Airlines for five years. He has a law degree and specializes in aeronautical law.
