PartsLogistics Adds New Batch Search Feature

AvSupport’s PartsLogistics aircraft parts sourcing system has a new feature that allows users to conduct batch searches. A batch can include more than 20 search items, and results are delivered in text file format. PartsLogistics also added an online forum where users can post available parts or parts needed and discuss industry issues or seek answers to questions. Parts sellers can take advantage of the new inventory management system, which helps sellers receive more requests by keeping inventory up to date. Parts providers can also place a link on their Web sites that takes users directly to a “mini search” feature that allows the user to see only that provider’s inventory. Basic PartsLogistics services are free, including parts availability, suppliers, overhaul capabilities, searching for up to 20 parts at once and free e-mail requests for proposals for parts and suppliers. More comprehensive services, including discounts on faxed request for quotes, are priced from $79.95 per month to $699 per year.
