Dubai-based Empire Aviation Group (Stand 624) has added a second Embraer Legacy 650 to its aircraft management fleet, which now numbers about 20 aircraft, including two Legacy 600s. Empire’s aircraft management philosophy “helps owners to optimize their investment and protect the long-term value of their aircraft asset,” according to the company, “covering all aspects of the aircraft’s operation, the option of charter and maintenance management.”

Ahmed Nemal, Undersecretary for Aviation Services, and Kamal Bin Ahmed Mohamed, Minister of Transportation, Kingdom of Bahrain, discuss plans to expand the passenger terminal at the Bahrain International Airport.

Bahrain Airports Company (BAC) is well advanced with plans for further expansion at the international airport at Muharraq, in the north of the island, an official told AIN at MEBA 2012 in Dubai.

“Bahrain Airports Company is planning a major project to expand the passenger terminal building as well as a major service center,” said Mohamed Yousif Al-Binfalah, CEO of BAC. “We have already developed infrastructural plans. We hope that by 2013, we will begin the work.”
