We have made many visual changes, but it’s even more exciting behind the scenes. Using a sophisticated content management system, we’re now posting nearly all the editorial stories you’ll find in the many print and electronic publications produced by Aviation International News. In addition, we’re bolstering our online archives with most of the articles from our past issues, going back five years.
The new design provides you with several ways to find the latest and archived aviation news.
First, the home page presents the latest news from the Aviation International News monthly magazine, AINalerts e-newsletter and our onsite convention and airshow issues. We’ll also be publishing stories exclusively for AINonline.
Second, you can access the news directly from the most recent issue of any of our publications by using the vertical menu bar on the left.
Third, the topic links, called “channels,” at the bottom of the home page provide the most recent news from all of our publications, with the most recent news listed at the top.
Fourth, the links “Latest News” (in the horizontal menu bar at the top of the home page) and “See All News” (right above the channels) take you directly to the most recent stories from all our publications.
Fifth, the search function just below the AINonline logo in the top left corner allows searches by key words and brings up the newest stories first.
And finally, the “Issue Archives” link in the lower part of the left column takes you directly to specific issues of our publications.
If you are looking for one of the AIN monthly’s longer features, such as our annual survey reports on FBOs and product support and many other topics, check out the “Resource Center” in the horizontal menu bar at the top.
