Sheridan, Wyo.-based Phoenix Fuel (Booth No. 4022) has unveiled a new image and Web portal to go with it.
The announcement followed closely on the heels of news earlier this month that Phoenix Japan Aviation Group, the company’s ground-handling provider at Haneda Airport in Tokyo, had opened its doors for business.
The Web portal, which includes a four-step online fuel ordering process and client-specific pricing as well as integration with the SolArc RightAngle customer application, will enable Phoenix Fuel to integrate scheduling, contract management, fuel ticketing, risk analysis and tax application under one platform, the company said.
SolArc provides supply, trading and risk management solutions for the aviation industry. The Phoenix Web portal is supported by the RightAngle application and was designed by Larkspur Technology Solutions.
“I am very pleased that, after a thorough evaluation of fuel supply and marketing solutions, we chose SolArc because of its ability to handle our business from front to back, so we can provide higher quality services to our customers,” said Phoenix Fuel president Tom Perkins.
Phoenix Japan Aviation Group in Tokyo offers a number of services to customers in the Pacific Rim, including permits, slots, transportation, contract fuel pricing and a direct link to international trip planning.
“What we are doing will set the pace for the future of aviation operations in this region,” said Bill Bullard, executive vice president of Phoenix Japan Aviation Group. “We are the only company specifically targeting the Pacific Rim, introducing operators to contract fuel and our full suite of services.”
Perkins added that the Phoenix Japan Aviation Group was founded in response to the growth within the Pacific Rim. “Through this new company, we will generate cost-efficient solutions and smooth transitions for current and potential clients flying in and out of Japan,” he said.
Phoenix Fuel was founded in 1994. Its Web address is www.pfc.aero.
