When Texas Aviation Services and Casas Bahia, Brazil’s largest retailer, concluded a multi-helicopter completion contract on Sunday, it took a lot of folks to celebrate. Representing those who will have a hand in the program were (l to r): Marcos Braga, CEO, Sierra Aeronautica; Steve Townes, CEO, Ranger Aerospace, Irving, Texas; Tim Woodard, president, and Grayson Barrows, program manager, Texas Aviation Services in Fort Worth, Texas; Michael Klein (one of Brazil’s richest men), CEO, and Capt. John LaPenta, director of aviation, Casas Bahia; and Jose Brandao, director of business aviation, Synergy Group.
