Michigan Firm Axes Flight Training

Waterford, Mich.-based Tradewinds Aviation is changing its name to Corporate Eagle Management Service and is discontinuing its flight training operations. According to president and CEO Rick Nini, the company will focus solely on its flight department services. Corporate Eagle has a fleet of 11 King Airs and Hawkers and serves 31 Southeastern Michigan program members. The company will also be opening a new facility at St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport later this year.
