Hawker Beechcraft is expanding its global service network by adding Arabian Aircraft Service (Arabasco) to support its Hawker 800 series and Aerodata of Germany to support its Beechcraft line.
Arabasco plans to add more aircraft such as the 900XP to its service offerings in the near future. Based at King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah, this authorization provides a first-time alliance between Hawker Beechcraft and a maintenance facility in Saudi Arabia.
Aerodata is located at Braunschweig Airport, 200 kilometers from Berlin. In addition to aircraft maintenance, Aerodata has the capability to provide turnkey special mission aircraft to a worldwide customer base.
“Aerodata is well located to serve central and northern European customers,” said Steve Porte, vice president of international customer support.
Through its approval as a design, production and maintenance organization by the European Aviation Safety Agency, Aerodata is able to develop supplemental type certificates for the King Air and produce the kits for aircraft modification in-house. This allows Aerodata to provide customized solutions for avionics packages and cabin installations.
