ExecuJet Aviation Group and Ruag are teaming up to deliver an enhanced maintenance, repair and overhaul product. Through the new strategic alliance customers will benefit from a range of aircraft management and aftermarket services, from pre-owned and new aircraft sales through aircraft management and comprehensive maintenance, modification and cabin refurbishment.
“There is considerable synergy in maintenance expertise and operational skills between Ruag and ExecuJet. We are delighted to forge a relationship with [them],” said Cedric Migeon, managing director of ExecutJet Europe.
ExecuJet Aviation Group, based in Zurich, offers a diverse range of services, including aircraft sales, aircraft management, charter service, maintenance, interior completions and operations. Ruag, in Berne, Switzerland, is a technology group with considerable experience in international aerospace and defense. The company also offers many of the same business aviation services as ExecuJet.
Meanwhile, ExecuJet has taken over a 19,375-sq-ft hangar at Zurich Kloten Airport. “Hangarage at Zurich is very scarce; we are therefore very happy to be taking over this facility which is large enough to accommodate four large and one small business jets,” said European FBO director Nicole Gut.
The expansion complements the recent investment ExecuJet has made to its Zurich FBO. The pilot lounge there received a full refurbishment in January this year, in time for the 2010 World Economic Forum in Davos. Plans are to fully refurbish the rest of the FBO later this year.
