Conklin & de Decker this week released its 2010/2011 Aircraft Performance Comparator, a software product that allows users to compare aircraft data for business jets, turboprops, helicopters or piston airplanes. This newly updated software program allows users to overlay and compare aircraft interiors and exteriors, as well as performance data that come directly from the manufacturer’s approved aircraft flight and performance manuals. Users can thus make direct comparisons from the extensive aircraft database and then evaluate and print reports.
Also new in the updated edition is that all of the performance graphs now use engineering-scale labeling for easier reading. The help section has also been rewritten and includes expanded explanations for charts and performance categories. It also contains preliminary data on the new Embraer Legacy 650, the King Air C90GTx and 350i, Bell 429 and Diamond DA-42NG, along with updates for other jets, turboprops and helicopters.
The price for the latest Aircraft Performance Comparator is $695 for jets, $595 for turboprops or helicopters and $450 for the piston database. Discounts are available for those needing multiple databases. Customized reports for individual aircraft can also be special ordered for $100 per aircraft.
