SuperJet International announced on February 28 that its board of directors has appointed Nazario Cauceglia new CEO of the company, a joint venture between Finmeccanica subsidiary Alenia Aermacchi (51 percent) and Sukhoi Holding (49 percent).

Cauceglia, who served as chief technical officer of the former Alenia Aeronautica (now Alenia Aermacchi), succeeds Carlo Logli, “to whom has been conveyed high appreciation of the worthy efforts spent for the benefit of the company during these past years and for the success achieved within the Sukhoi Superjet 100 program,” said SuperJet International in a written statement.
