Embraer, Dassault To Support Olympics Customers
Embraer has developed a plan to support its operators during the London Olympic Games, scheduled for July 27 to August 12. It is coordinating the effort with London Stansted-based Inflite The Jet Centre, a member of Embraer’s authorized service center network. The Inflite FBO offers customer lounges, concierge, handling and parking services, as well as advice on the special flight operations and restrictions surrounding the games.
“Inflite The Jet Centre is committed to supporting Embraer customers at all times,” said Inflite CEO Penny Stephens, adding that the facility has mission-critical tools and ground support equipment on site. An Embraer field service representative and an Inflite AOG mobile team will be available around the clock, ready to deploy to all London-area airports. The team will also be available for dispatch to other cities in the UK.
Embraer’s Paris warehouse stocks about $11 million worth of parts, and the OEM has doubled its parts stock at Inflite, to $5 million. Additionally, direct shipments from Brazil will be available 24/7, with Embraer personnel available to coordinate mechanic availability, mobile rescue team operation and in general to tend to customers’ needs.
Dassault will have a dedicated customer service manager at Luton Airport and has doubled its GoTeam capacity there. It also has $2 million in spares on location to support its three authorized service centers in the region. Falcon owners are also encouraged to take advantage of Dassault’s “Let Us Know Before You Go” program, which helps ensure that adequate support is available.
