Beechcraft has appointed Kingsley Okoli regional sales director for Sub-Saharan Africa, the company announced on Tuesday. Based in Nigeria, Okoli spent 13 years in the U.S. Air Force, including work that involved the West Africa region and the Nigerian air force.
“We are delighted to be able to attract people to Beechcraft with the skills, character and charisma of Kingsley,” said Scott Plumb, vice president sales, Europe, Middle East and Africa. “South Africa continues to be one of the largest growth markets in the world, with the business aviation fleet in the region increasing by more than 20 percent in the past decade.”
Okoli served as an F-16 crew chief and later a fighter squadron logistics readiness officer for the U.S. Air Force. His experience covers Department of Defense acquisition program management, business development and operational management in foreign military sales and foreign military financing. He joins Beechcraft after a role as senior program analyst for IMSolutions.
