Victor, an online aggregator of private jet charters, announced at EBACE that its new online platform, due to go live in June, will allow true real-time viewing of available charter legs. Victor members see open legs as they become available, with the software automatically pricing the legs and pushing the information to Victor members. Once a leg is purchased it will immediately disappear from the online departures board. The new system has been in testing for nearly a year, according to the company. There are now nearly 3,400 Victor members.
“Too many brokers advertise phantom flights and indicative prices to generate consumer interest, which is unethical at best,” said Clive Jackson, founder and CEO of Victor. “The new Victor platform is a game-changer for the private jet charter business, as it opens up real-time availability and genuine pricing on a global basis,” he continued.
Victor is considered to have one of the largest contracted fleets in Europe, with more than 400 aircraft from 100 operators.
