Applied Composites Engineering (ACE) is offering a two-year transferable warranty on all overhauled or repaired radomes for airliners and business jets. The two-year Platinum warranty will be included as part of a fully overhauled radome repair. The two-year Gold warranty will be included as part of a damage-specific radome repair. Both levels will transfer to the new owner in the event of an aircraft sale during the warranty period, and both include one transmissivity test during the warranty period at no cost.

“This enhanced warranty program marks a significant differentiation in the radome repair industry, and underscores ACE’s confidence in its testing, repair, paint, finish and final transmissivity test results,” said ACE founder and president Leigh Sargent. According to Sargent, ACE has made significant investments in a transmissivity testing chamber, paint and finish booths, loaner radomes and guaranteed 24-hour transmissivity testing, resulting in faster turnaround times.

ACE is an aerospace engineering and aviation repair FAA Part 145 repair station based in Indianapolis.
