Some 200 companies will be exhibiting at the three-day Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE), which starts next Tuesday at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. Organized by NBAA in partnership with the Shanghai Airport Authority, the event will be located once more at the Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Service Centre–a joint venture between the Shanghai Airport Authority and Hawker Pacific–with the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) co-hosting the event.

In addition to the indoor exhibits, 36 aircraft are scheduled to be on the static display, ranging from a Beechcraft Baron to an Airbus ACJ318 and Boeing BBJ–and everything in between, including a Bombardier Global 6000, Gulfstream G650, Dassault Falcon 7X, several helicopters, Pilatus PC-12, Piaggio Avanti II and several Cessna Citations.

U.S. FAA Administrator Michael Huerta will give the keynote address at the opening general session on Tuesday morning. Several conference sessions are scheduled for ABACE 2014, including the China Business Aviation Policy Symposium on Tuesday, the APEC conference on Wednesday morning and a Business Aviation Safety & Operations session on Wednesday afternoon.

AIN will be publishing three daily editions of ABACE Convention News on the main days of the event, and sister publication Business Jet Traveler will be distributing a Chinese edition of its 2014 Business Aircraft Buyers Guide there. AINalerts will publish extra issues at ABACE next Monday and Wednesday, and live news, photos, podcasts and videos from the show will be posted on AINonline starting on Sunday.
