Activist investor The Children’s Investment Fund Management (TCI) in the UK has renewed its calls for EADS to sell its 46-percent stake, worth more than €4 billion, in Dassault Aviation. Last month, TCI partner Ben Walker wrote a letter to EADS chief Tom Enders, saying its investment in Falcon jet manufacturer Dassault is a “poor use of capital…[and] provides no synergies and has limited strategic value.” This week, TCI again pushed Enders to divest its minority interest in Dassault “as soon as possible.”
