Aviation services provider Jetex is attending the annual NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference this week in San Antonio, Texas, along with the UK’s London Oxford Airport to announce that Jetex has been selected as the airport’s preferred flight-planning partner. Next month, the Dubai-based company will open a new flight-planning lounge in the airport’s Oxfordjet FBO.
Jetex is taking over one of the FBO’s crew lounges and rebranding it with new furnishings, signage, aeronautical charts and world time zone clocks. In addition, Jetex will supply computers, which will link directly with its flight-planning systems while also hosting generic flight planning software packages.
“This is a strong branding partnership for our FBO as we mark the fifth birthday of Oxfordjet,” said James Dillon-Godfray, the privately owned airport’s business development director. “It becomes our first external partner, which will help us further bolster our offering to new customers, in particular beyond the European region alone, especially in the Middle East and the U.S.” The airport’s operations team will post daily notices in the lounge including notams and other crucial weather and airspace information.
