Today at the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in San Antonio, Texas, online aeronautical chart and flight planning tool provider SkyVector launched its new global FBO directory. Projected onto the company’s existing online chart viewer, the free directory seamlessly integrates into the mapping interface and displays real-time fuel prices on the charts in relevant currencies and units of measure.

Typically, the lowest current fuel price at an airport is displayed, but users can filter for variables, such as fuel card program participation or amenities offered at the facilities. There is no charge for listing in the directory, but FBOs can manage their profile and offer guaranteed fuel prices to improve their visibility with an upgrade.

“The basic free listing is incredibly powerful, helping pilots discover FBO’s in places they may never have thought to look,” said company founder David Graves. He expects that as the directory begins to drive traffic to the ramps of participating service providers, it will gain worldwide momentum.
