Bombardier Aerospace reached outside the company to appoint Pierre Gabriel Côté as president of Bombardier Business Aircraft, a position that has been held on an interim basis for the last 10 months by Pierre Beaudoin, president and COO of Bombardier Aerospace. In September, Beaudoin replaced Peter Edwards, who had been with the Canadian manufacturer for 10 years. Côté's resumé includes president and CEO at Rogers Sugar Income Fund, senior v-p of international operations and energy at Abitibi Consolidated and executive v-p at Kruger. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and is a private pilot. "Pierre Gabriel brings a wealth of national and international leadership experience to Bombardier," said Beaudoin. "His impressive track record is one of delivering solid results on aggressive targets, notably in increasingly senior roles in operations management."
