Learjet 60XR Enters the Fleet

Los Angeles-based Cloud Nine Aviation received the first Learjet 60XR this week, following an entry-into-service delivery ceremony at the Learjet manufacturing facility in Wichita. The 60XR is equipped with a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite that features four 8- by 10-inch high-resolution liquid crystal display adaptive flight screens, digitized engine information system (EIS), integrated flight instrument system (IFIS) with electronic charts, WXR-840 weather data, TCAS II and an enhanced ground proximity warning system (EGPWS) with windshear alert. The 60XR also includes redesigned interior features, including five separate floor plans, a larger galley and lavatory and a new cabin management system with three-inch LCD control modules. It has a range of 2,365 nm, cruise speed of 453 knots and ceiling of 51,000 feet. Flexjet will be hosting the East Coast debut of the 60XR and the Challenger 605 at West Hampton airport in New York this Saturday.
