Nextant Aerospace said it is accelerating deliveries of the 400NXT–serialized remanufactured Beechjets and Hawker 400XPs with Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics and new Williams FJ44-3AP engines–to the first quarter of 2010. “We are pleased to announce the shortened delivery time for both the serialized production and retrofit 400NXT programs. The interest we have received in the program has been great and we are excited to be able to deliver the product sooner than planned to our customers,” said Nextant CEO Kenn Ricci. The Richmond Heights, Ohio-based company also announced that the Rockwell Collins Venue high-definition cabin management system is expected to be added to the list of options for the 400NXT. With the more efficient engines and upgraded avionics, the range of the 400NXT will be 2,000 nm, an increase of more than 800 nm over a baseline Beechjet 400A or Hawker 400XP. A fully modified 400NXT will sell for less than $5 million and will be available with various cabin configurations and entertainment options. Nextant is also offering its Beechjet/Hawker 400XP Pro Line 21 cockpit retrofit as a standalone product for $390,000, which includes installation.
