Embraer To Add R&D Facility at Melbourne, Fla. Complex

Embraer announced yesterday that it will establish the Embraer Engineering and Technology Center USA as part of its aeronautical complex in Melbourne, Fla. The 67,000-sq-ft center will conduct research and development activities for both product and technology development across Embraer’s business lines, with the first assignments focused primarily on executive jet interiors. The facility will include a laboratory for the development and testing of materials and interior items.
