King Schools has launched an online Flight Instructor Refresher Course (FIRC) that it says is not only “interesting, relevant and sometimes provocative” but is also the first such course to incorporate a paperwork-free, completely online renewal process. According to John and Martha King of King Schools, the company’s FIRC “gives flight instructors more insight on issues such as identifying and changing at-risk behaviors, and conducting an effective flight review,” said John King. Once they have completed the course, flight instructors will receive their temporary certificate by email, according to King Schools.
