Embraer Executive Jets president Ernest “Ernie” Edwards announced his pending year-end retirement last week during his company’s NBAA 2013 press conference. Edwards joined the Brazilian airframer in 2005 as vice president of executive jet marketing and sales for North America and the Caribbean. He served as president of Embraer’s executive jet division since 2011, and his four-decade-plus aviation industry career also included senior sales stints at Gulfstream and Cessna. Succeeding him at the helm will be Marco Túlio Pellegrini, currently Embraer Executive Jets’s COO and senior vice president of operations.
