Argus will launch a certified charter broker program in the first quarter, it announced today at the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in New Orleans. The program will provide charter operators and end-consumers with information necessary to make a “confident decision” when engaging a charter broker. Argus bills the product as an “independent, unbiased, factually based program that confirms a charter broker is a legitimate business entity.” Argus said listed brokers will be audited to ensure they have in place policies and procedures that adhere to applicable regulations, industry best practices, appropriate insurance coverage and proper fiscal management.
