Goguen Moves to Greenwich AeroGroup
After 12 years at Dassault Falcon, Gerald Goguen has joined Greenwich AeroGroup as executive vice president. Located in Greenwich, Conn., Greenwich AeroGroup owns three maintenance and FBO businesses: Atlantic Aero (Greensboro, N.C.); Western Aircraft (Boise, Idaho); and Summit Aviation, (Middletown, Del.). “It was an exciting opportunity,” Goguen replied when asked why he left Dassault Falcon. Goguen said that his May 2008 move to the newly created position of senior vice president for global customer relations and business strategy did not influence his decision to leave Dassault Falcon. “I liked what I was doing,” Goguen told AIN, and he expressed a sense of having achieved his goals at his former employer. “Things are well in hand over there.” At Greenwich AeroGroup, Goguen will help the company develop a global maintenance network, and Greenwich is evaluating opportunities in the U.S. and abroad. “They are motivated to develop this business and I’m excited to be asked to work with them, to help them to move it forward,” he said.
