Operators of turboprops and helicopters can now sign up for the Jet Support Services engine hourly cost maintenance program with a no-enrollment-fee option. The monthly management fee for these operators is $200, and JSSI is offering a “competitive” hourly use rate that covers unscheduled and scheduled maintenance, including 24/7 technical assistance. Operators do not have to pay a buy-in fee to cover previous operating hours accrued on the engines. The JSSI hourly cost program “will make it easier for these owners and operators to realize a predictable maintenance budget,” according to JSSI, “while obtaining the expert consultative services of JSSI’s dedicated team of technical service representatives.” Joe Hagin, JSSI’s newly appointed CEO, added, “We feel there is tremendous opportunity to serve this rapidly expanding market, which will offer turboprop and helicopter operators budget stability during these challenging financial times.” With plans to broaden its offerings, private equity firms R.H. Book and 1848 Capital Partners bought JSSI earlier this year.
