Pilatus Aircraft has appointed Pro-Star Aviation of Londonderry, N.H., a sales representative and service center for its PC-12NG turboprop single in the northeastern U.S. The company’s territory will cover New Hampshire, New Jersey, Delaware, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts and Michigan. Pro-Star also has offices in Caldwell, N.J., and Portland, Maine. Thomas Bosshard, CEO of the Swiss manufacturer’s U.S. subsidiary, Pilatus Business Aircraft, said Pro-Star was selected for the quality of its personnel and its experience with turbine-powered aircraft. The PC-12NG features the new Honeywell Primus Apex avionics suite, a new cockpit configuration designed by BMW Group Designworks USA and a more powerful version of the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A. Atlas Aircraft of Portsmouth, N.H. will continue to be a PC-12 authorized service center until the end of 2009, according to a Pilatus spokesman. Atlas also maintains the growing fleet of sister company PlaneSense’s fleet of fractional share PC-12s.
