Boekenkamp Moves to BBA Legacy Products Group

BBA Aviation is moving Gary Boekenkamp to its Legacy Products Group. In this new job, Boekenkamp will serve as vice president of marketing, acquisitions and strategic business development. He will be responsible for strategic planning, looking for new opportunities and acquisitions. The Legacy Products Group licenses mature OEM parts from manufacturers, assuming responsibility for production quality and aftermarket support. To date, BBA’s Legacy Products portfolio includes more than 100 OEM licenses representing in excess of 4,500 individual components and assemblies. Boekenkamp has more than 28 years of experience in business, commercial and military aviation, and before this appointment he was vice president of strategy and business development for BBA’s Flight Support Group. Before joining Signature Flight Support in 1998, Boekenkamp worked at Airwork, Gulf+Western, Atlantic Aviation, Aviall and Dallas Airmotive.
