Chromalloy has implemented a new global sales structure, with each region of the world having a designated Chromalloy sales leader. “The intent of having team members dedicated to various regions throughout the world is for them to be able to ratchet up the level of service to gas-turbine engine operators,” said Tom van der Linden, Chromalloy vice president of sales. The company previously operated with a network of sales representatives based at many of its more than 30 facilities and offices in 14 countries. The new structure includes directors, senior account managers and support staff, and is designed to centralize the sales force while keeping it focused on key markets, customers and regions. The regional sales leaders will continue to be based at Chromalloy locations around the world. The company repairs and services gas turbines used in aviation and land-based applications; provides engine components; and designs and manufactures PMA replacement parts for aircraft engines.
