ACC Columbia Jet Service is the newly formed company resulting from the merger of Cologne Flugzeugwartung (ACC) and Columbia Jet Service. According to a spokesman, the new company will focus on providing aircraft repair and maintenance at the airports in Cologne and Hanover, Germany. “The merging of the two companies strengthens our position and makes us more competitive in the marketplace,” he said. Both ACC on Cologne Airport and Columbia Jet Service on Hanover Airport have existing facilities. Over the past year ACC and Columbia Jet Service have experienced growth in business and personnel, a trend the company expects will continue. Both locations are equipped to work on Astra, Gulfstream, Cessna, Bombardier, Falcon and Citation aircraft. In addition to an existing satellite in Luxembourg, ACC Columbia Jet Service plans to open another satellite station in Pafos (Cyprus) by year-end.
