To accommodate expanding operations for Twin Otter 400 production and support for de Havilland Canada legacy aircraft operators, Viking has added an 84,000-sq-ft facility at its Victoria, British Columbia location. The new building will serve as the company’s corporate headquarters and main manufacturing facility. The new building is situated next to Viking’s existing building, which will continue to house Viking’s MRO and Esso FBO. “We now have Transport Canada, FAA and most recently EASA Part 145 maintenance approval,” a spokesman told AIN. “EASA certification opens up our services to European-registered aircraft and products. It will also allow Viking to better serve our existing customer base.”
