Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services (LBAS) has selected OHS Aviation Services as a tier-one supplier for all cabin interior and aircraft exterior aesthetic-related work. OHS is an EASA-approved Part 145 and Part 21J repair station established in 2000 at Berlin-Schoenefeld airport. The company specializes in interior refurbishments, including carpet, divan and seat upholstering, and panel recovering. OHS maintains a range of specialized workshops for upholstery, leather, wood and paint. It also offers specialized services such as bright work and cleaning of interiors and exteriors. LBAS recently attained the highest level for continuing airworthiness as a certified continuing airworthiness management organization (Camo). LBAS has received Camo approval from the EASA, the Bermuda CAA and Cayman Islands CAA, the three authorities that require Camo compliance by aircraft operators. LBAS also signed an agreement with Aerodata under which the two will collaborate on aircraft retrofits and modifications for special-mission aircraft. LBAS recently converted two green Bombardier Global Expresses to a flight-inspection configuration for a customer in Asia.
