Piaggio America has added three new locations–Crownair Aviation in San Diego and Carlsbad, Calif., and Constant Aviation in Birmingham, Ala.–to its list of North American authorized service centers to support the Avanti II twin turboprop. Crownair Aviation offers fuel, maintenance and avionics services at its Montgomery Airport facility in San Diego. It also offers piston aircraft maintenance, avionics equipment upgrades, fuel and other FBO services. Crownair Aviation’s Palomar Airport operation in Carlsbad offers maintenance and avionics service. Constant Aviation offers airframe and engine maintenance, repair, overhaul and avionics installation and repair at its Birmingham International Airport facility. John Bingham, Piaggio America’s president and CEO, said, “With an authorized service center network that has more than doubled in the last twelve months and with further additions to the network due before year-end, we are confident our Avanti owners and operators will have the comprehensive factory-authorized support they need, and now it will be even closer at hand.”
