Executive Flight Services, a subsidiary of Kansas City, Mo.-based Executive AirShare, has established a maintenance base at Midwest National Air Center (GPH), formerly known as Clay County Regional Airport, in Kearney, Mo. Keith Plumb, president and COO, said the move was designed to take advantage of low fuel prices and operating costs in the area. The company will continue to operate maintenance facilities at Wichita Mid-Continent Airport in Kansas and at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport and Dallas Love Field in Texas. "The price of jet-A fuel at Midwest National is less expensive than at competing airports in the region. By adding a fourth maintenance facility, we are enhancing our service offering to Kansas City-based customers as well as to shareowners in our fractional program," said Plumb. Executive AirShare currently operates a fleet of Phenom 300s and 100s, Beechjet 400As, King Air 350s and C90Bs.
