Chromalloy has launched a Web-based catalog of gas turbine engine parts and repairs. “Commercial aircraft operators and engine maintenance and repair shops can search the catalog for aircraft engine parts and repairs. Searches return results instantaneously and allow the user to contact a company representative,” a company spokesman said. The database-driven catalog lists engine information by manufacturer, engine type and engine section. Searches show turnaround times for repairs and facility locations in Chromalloy’s global network for a particular repair or service. The catalog has a listing of Chromalloy DER and OEM-authorized repairs as well as parts manufacturer approval blades and components and permits searches by engine or part number. The search engine allows the user to request both pricing and specific information from a sales representative. Currently the catalog lists commercial aerospace parts and repairs but the company plans to expand it to include parts and services for industrial gas turbine engines, aero derivatives and military aircraft power systems. Chromalloy also publishes a monthly repair sheet listing newly certified repairs.
