NBAA will host its 26th Annual Maintenance Management Conference (MMC) from April 5 to 7 in San Diego. ìThe MMC has become a priority event primarily because of the level and quality of the customer attendees, the networking opportunities with hundreds of supplier representatives and the first-rate presentations. Our diverse team of operators, OEMs and other industry reps has developed an exciting agenda of technical and professional development speakers,î Tim Steinhauser, MMC chair, told AIN. Steinhauser, who is the director of customer relations for Gulfstream Aerospace, said the 2011 conference has already signed up more than 80 exhibitor booths. This yearís conference includes some well-known speakers in the field of aviation maintenance. Tony Kerns of Convergent Performance is speaking on the ìGlobal War on Error: A Call to Action;î Steve King of Cox Enterprises on ìCreating a Pipeline of Talent for the Future;î and Dr Phil Roberts of PAR Travel Tech on ìThe Future Maintenance Professional: Whoís Leading Who?î Steinhauser said the committee has made some changes in this yearís agenda. ìWeíre trying to get more of a focus on take-aways, things people can use for professional development and technical enhancement,î he said.
