Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) continue to provide growth opportunities for Embraer. To meet the increasing demand for services there, the airframer is expanding its authorized service center network (ASC). Embraer has appointed Nayak Aircraft Services in Cologne, Germany, to provide line maintenance support for the Lineage 1000 at its Frankfurt facility. Nayak will provide the same support for the Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 at its maintenance center in Milan, Italy. The company was previously appointed an ASC for the Phenom 100 and 300. JCB Aero, in southwest France, and Inflite, based at London Stansted Airport, have been named Embraer authorized interior repair centers to cover warranty claims for customers in the EMEA region. ExecuJet of Dubai, already an authorized service center for the Legacy series, has added the Phenom 300 to its capabilities. In addition, Embraer has named two new regional customer support and service managers. Mathieu Faenne is based in Dubai and Pedro Paiva is assigned to London. According to the company, the appointments give strategic and operational management personnel local influence, reflecting operator needs, as well as regional infrastructure and authority.
