Kazan International Airport (Russia)-based Tulpar Technic has been named a Bombardier-authorized service facility for the CRJ100 and CRJ200 regional jets. “Tulpar Technic is emerging as a leader in the region and will provide Bombardier operators with much needed access to quality maintenance services,” said Éric Martel, president of Bombardier Customer Services & Specialized and Amphibious Aircraft. “The Russian market is extremely important to Bombardier, and our team continues to accelerate the expansion of our international services offering, here and around the world.”

Tulpar Technic’s territory includes Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Operating out of a 49,600-sq-ft maintenance hangar, it employs 25 maintenance technicians. The MRO will be supported by an on-site cooperation agreement with Adria Airways Tehnika, a longstanding CRJ authorized service facility based in Slovenia.

A spokesman for Bombardier told AIN, “Adria Airways Tehnika… has been a Bombardier CRJ-authorized service facility since 2002. Under the agreement, Adria has been instrumental in providing CRJ expertise and assistance to Tulpar in their readiness preparations. It will continue to provide such assistance, as required, in the start-up phase of Tulpar’s Kazan operations.”
