Bombardier Aerospace has approved a second line maintenance facility in India. Air Works in New Delhi is authorized to work on the Challenger 604, Challenger 605, Global Express and Global Express XRS. The facility will complement Air Works’ center in Mumbai, which has been part of Bombardier’s authorized service facility network since 2008.

The new Delhi facility, located on Indira Gandhi International Airport, features a 9,042-sq-ft maintenance hangar. Air Works has provided maintenance services for business aviation for more than 60 years and offers maintenance at 14 locations across India. The MRO employs approximately 550 general aviation maintenance professionals who, depending on workload, can be deployed across India, including its two main bases in New Delhi and Mumbai.

“The two Air Works facilities are an important part of our overall network in India, anchored by our Mumbai Regional Support Office. We continue to place heavy emphasis on building our local roots in key markets, and are pleased to collaborate with local partners,” said Éric Martel, president, customer services & specialized and amphibious aircraft, Bombardier Aerospace.
