The Jet Business, a company aimed at assisting clients in the acquisition of new or pre-owned business aircraft, has added an iPad app to help customers visualize the look of their aircraft.

“Since opening The Jet Business, we’ve been constantly confronted by the client’s frustration at being unable to visualize an aircraft with their personal look,” Steve Varsano, founder of The Jet Business, told AIN. The solution was to offer the free app, which extends The Jet Business’s objective of easing the selection and buying process.

“We are not trying to be designers or completion centers. The completion app simply assists the buyer in visualizing the aircraft in the colors of fabrics, woods, metals and carpets that appeal to the client, as it is almost impossible to visualize an image of what their aircraft could look like with the current method of showing tiny swatches of these materials,” he said. When the client finds the right combination, the app provides a list of materials and manufacturers of those materials that the client can give the completion center or manufacturer.
