Bombardier Extends Challenger 605 Warranty

Bombardier Aerospace will be extending the basic warranty of the Challenger 605 from the current three years/3,000 hours to five years/5,000 hours. The new warranty will be standard on all Challenger 605s delivered after April 1.

The basic warranty includes systems and components coverage, which has been increased to five years or 5,000 hours; avionics remains unchanged at five years with no flight-hour limitations; APU coverage is now at five years or 5,000 hours. In addition, primary structure will remain at 10 years or 10,000 hours, while engine remains unchanged at five years or 2,500 hours directly from the original equipment manufacturer, and completion work warranty unchanged at two years. The flight-hour restriction has been removed.
