Growth is the word in the Asia-Pacific region, and since 2010 Jet Aviation Singapore has more than doubled the number of skilled workers it employs; three-quarters of the new employees are local hires. To meet growing demand for business aviation services in the region, Jet Aviation Singapore has raised its employee headcount to 123 from 59 in 2010 and plans to hire 13 more aviation professionals this year.

The maintenance and FBO service provider is tripling the size of its hangar facility, now at capacity, and expects the expansion to be operational in April. The addition brings the hangar to 80,700 sq ft, and provides 43,700 sq ft of shops and offices and nearly 101,180 sq ft of ramp space.

The new 80-foot-high hangar will better accommodate aircraft such as the Boeing Business Jet and Airbus Corporate Jet, and handle up to five G650s or five Global Express 7000s.
