Yingling Aviation has been selected to convert a Beechcraft King Air B200 from a standard executive interior to a critical-care medical configuration. Jerry Pickett, Yingling’s v-p of customer programs, told AIN that medevac operator EagleMed will continue to fly both C90s and B200s in its mix and is not replacing all aircraft. The operator flies the King Air 90s in a single-bed configuration; the King Air 200s will have a two-bed configuration. “This latest project highlights the expanding services we offer at our facility,” he said.

The Wichita Mid-Continent Airport-based MRO is known for its Oasis executive interior modification for Cessna Caravans. The OEM offers the mod as an option on new Caravans. “We’ll get the green airplane from Cessna and install the interior, including soft goods, cabinetry, surfaces, sidewalls, our seats and a potty. It turns the aircraft into a non-pressurized executive aircraft,” Pickett said.

The company offers six different configurations under a supplemental type certificate and, working in conjunction with an engineering firm, can develop an STC for most turboprop aircraft. The MRO has extensive experience with King Airs, the Cessna Caravan and 500-series Citations, including CJs.
