An ATR 42-500 was destroyed and one maintenance worker was injured in a June 9 fire at Praha-Ruzyne International Airport (LKPR), Prague, Czech Republic. The airplane was parked inside Czech Airlines Technics’ Hangar F for maintenance when an explosion occurred, followed by a fire that destroyed the twin turboprop. Another ATR 42 in the same hangar also sustained damage.
