Crews Zero In on ‘Pings’ in Search for MAS Flight 370
Australian navy crews have detected "pinger" signals in the Indian Ocean, possibly from Flight 370.
As the search for the missing airliner drags on, there was some cause for hope when the Royal Australian Navy detected signals consistent with a flight recorder, but for many that hope is dimming as the batteries in the recorders are likely close to, if not already, exhausted.
