Industry Agrees To Introduce Mandatory Aircraft Tracking
A task force formed by the International Air Transport Association is developing proposals for mandatory aircraft tracking to be implemented by ICAO.
ICAO is pressing for a global flight reporting system to improve prospects for finding missing aircraft, such as the Malaysian Airlines flight MH370, which triggered a wide an inconclusive search.
