Embraer has two in-development midsize jets–the Legacy 450 and 500–that will be in service by the end of 2013. Embraer is also starting to bring its Melbourne, Florida Phenom 100 assembly plant online, with the first light jet made at the facility expected to be delivered by year-end. At NBAA, AIN sat down with Embraer Executive Jets president Ernie Edwards to get an update about these programs.
